I have always enjoyed exploring new places, even more so when I have the opportunity to meet local artists and capture the essence of a city through images and words.

Growing up, I moved almost every year from state to state — the perpetual new kid. As a result, I have a tried and true love for traveling, and I’m always excited to explore somewhere new and use my gifts to tell others about it. In my years as a photojournalist I have written about my experiences visiting Savannah and Charleston, plus artist residency programs at the Hambidge Center and Serenbe Art Farm, just to name a few. I’ve taken my camera to cities near and far, ranging from Chattanooga to New York City, and all the way across the ocean to Paris, France and Churintzio, Mexico.
